WHY WE MADE APPRAISAL SCRIBE

from Appraisal Scribe European artwork from the Victorian period

Years ago, when I first established my appraisal business, I would complain to my husband, a software engineer, about how time-consuming it was to use Word type documents to format reports, add and size photographs and tables, and cut and paste repeated content from one report to another. I was frustrated with how many hours it took to produce a report, taking away from time I could be marketing my services and expanding my business. A problem-solver, he came up with a cloud-based collaborative system that my partner and I have used ever since.

As the years have passed, I noticed that while there are a number of report writer and project management options for Real Property and Business Appraisers, there were few options for Personal Property Appraisers. Those that are available are systems that are often collections management first, with appraisal report writing added as an afterthought. To fill this void we are making Appraisal Scribe commercially available, a report writer designed specifically with professional personal property appraisers in mind.
